About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Director of Operations to join our team at Aramark UK. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful and smooth running of all catering outlets within the university, including the main restaurant, branded coffee bars, hospitality, and our St Asaph Campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of employees to success while managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage all aspects of the operation to deliver outstanding service levels, including food quality, presentation, and timeliness.
  • Oversee and ensure all cleaning and safety procedures are consistently delivered.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regular service level review meetings.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of employees to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage all hospitality for events and functions, including catering, staffing, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve financial performance, including labor and food costs.

Requirements

  • Experience operating as a General Manager with hospitality experience.
  • Experience leading a team to success.
  • Financially astute and commercially aware.
  • First-class customer service skills and a passion for delivering service excellence.
  • Ability to bring innovation to the team.
