About the Role

As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards in our resort kitchens, which include the brasserie restaurant, fine dining conference & banqueting, and Asian spa restaurant. You'll be responsible for menu planning, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring each dish is crafted to perfection. Your expertise will help drive culinary excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution of menu plans and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Develop and execute creative and seasonal menus that showcase our culinary expertise and cater to diverse tastes.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards of food hygiene and safety.
  • Manage inventory and ordering supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong culinary skills and creativity, with the ability to develop innovative menus and dishes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide kitchen staff.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
