Freight Personnel is seeking a Business Development Executive to cover the North of the UK with a base in Manchester. This role involves selling and promoting a freight forwarding multi-modal service, primarily air and sea freight. The successful candidate will manage the sales cycle from identifying prospective clients, making appointments, and visiting clients to sell and promote air and sea import and export services worldwide. To apply, you will have experience selling a multi-modal freight forwarding service, although candidates with experience in selling only one mode (sea or air freight) are also welcome. You will be self-motivated, sales-driven, with a proven track record in sales, and possess excellent market knowledge in freight forwarding and good negotiation and closing skills. The salary and benefits package includes a salary of £45,000 to £60,000, car allowance, commission scheme, and additional benefits.
