Job Title: Senior Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing guidance, support, and encouragement to young people in a variety of settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical and emotional support to young people in residential settings, including classrooms and off-site activities.
  • Enable young people to develop by providing guidance and encouragement.
  • Work as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy, and caring environment that prioritizes the health, safety, and welfare of young people.
  • Be a good role model and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
  • Support young people in developing their personal cleanliness, general hygiene, and appearance.
  • Monitor young people's condition and contribute to record-keeping in the Master Care Plan.
  • Administer medication to residents and participate in medical audits as required.
  • Attend review meetings with young people and act as an advocate when necessary.
  • Lead shifts and conduct debriefs as required.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 RQF certificate in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to carry out effective debriefs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead shifts as required.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and their implementation in care settings.
