HR Undergraduate Placement

At Volkswagen Group, we're committed to attracting and retaining top talent to drive our business ambitions in the UK automotive industry. As an HR Undergraduate Placement, you'll play a vital role in supporting our People Operations, Talent, Development and Communications teams.

  1. People Operations: As the first point of contact for the business, you'll provide expert advice to our managers on policies and procedures, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  2. Talent, Development and Communications: In this role, you'll deliver proactive administration and project support across the Talent & Development and Internal Communications teams, driving business outcomes and enhancing our HR strategy.
  3. People Data: You'll work closely with the people team to develop and produce accurate, timely, and meaningful data analysis and reporting, providing valuable insights to inform our HR strategy.

We offer a competitive salary of £23,000, a new car every six months, 27 days' holiday, a discretionary bonus, pension scheme, employee well-being support, on-site restaurant, and shopping discounts. Our placement is open to university students eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2025. You should be on a sandwich degree or course offering a one-year industrial placement. We require our undergraduates to be based within a reasonable distance from our Milton Keynes head office to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
