About the Role

We are seeking an HR Undergraduate to join our team at Volkswagen Group UK. As a key member of our People Operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations and providing proactive administration and project support across the Talent & Development and Internal Communications teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. People Operations: You will be the first point of contact for the business, advising managers on a range of queries and policies to ensure the efficient management of day-to-day operations.
  2. Talent, Development and Communications: In this role, you'll provide administrative support and project assistance across the Talent & Development and Internal Communications teams, helping to drive business objectives and enhance the HR strategy.
  3. People Data: You will support the development and production of accurate, timely, and meaningful data analysis and reporting to the people team and wider business, providing valuable insights to inform HR decisions.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £23,000, a new car every six months (subject to a full, clean UK driving licence), 27 days' holiday plus bank holidays, a discretionary bonus, pension scheme, employee well-being support, on-site restaurant, and shopping discounts.

This placement is open to any university student eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2025. You should be on a sandwich degree or course offering a one-year industrial placement. We require our undergraduates to be based within a reasonable distance from our Milton Keynes head office to ensure a good work-life balance.
