About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to lead our technical team at our busy site in Coventry. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our workshop, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving innovation and improvement to minimize vehicle downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a results-focused maintenance and repair strategy to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of technicians and support staff to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of workshop activities.
  • Monitor and analyze workshop performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our workshop remains at the forefront of vehicle maintenance and repair.

About You:

  • You are a qualified technical expert (level 3 NVQ or City and Guilds in Light Maintenance) with a solid workshop management background and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • You have a common-sense business approach and a passion for customer service, with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • You are a natural leader and coach, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and quality standards.
