Technical Manager - Air Conditioning Services

As a Technical Manager - Air Conditioning Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Technical Director and the wider business in the execution of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the production of working drawings and detail information, providing technical support during land buying, planning, sales, construction, and post-construction, and ensuring consultants are briefed on required distribution of drawing information and key dates to meet procurement requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the production of working drawings and detail information to ensure it is complete, coherent, accurate, and available on time.
  • Provide technical support during land buying, planning, sales, construction, and post-construction.
  • Assess planning information for obvious Building Regulation requirements.
  • Ensure consultants are briefed on required distribution of drawing information and key dates to meet procurement requirements.
  • Ensure NHBC approval is obtained, and any conditions are cleared promptly to avoid delays to completions and apply/pay for all NHBC warranties and Building Control fees.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND in a building-related topic.
  • CSCS card or equivalent.
  • Current full UK driving licence.
  • Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems.
Working Conditions:

This is an office-based role with regular travel to development sites and for meetings. You will be required to be flexible in respect to day-to-day duties and hours worked.
