Position Overview
As a Claims Technical Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to oversee a variety of claims for commercial clients. From initiating claims with insurers to advocating for clients, you will ensure a seamless and efficient claims process. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing claims from inception to resolution, ensuring timely communication with insurers
- Providing expert advice and support to clients throughout the claims journey
- Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate claim resolution
- Maintaining precise claim records and documentation
- Participating in claims meetings and generating detailed reports as necessary
- Assisting team members with technical inquiries and mentoring junior staff
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in managing various insurance claims, particularly in Property, CAR, and Casualty sectors
- Strong organizational abilities and a knack for mentoring junior team members
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
