Technical Claims Handler Opportunity
Aon is seeking a skilled Technical Claims Handler to join our team in Leeds. As a Technical Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients and ensuring their claims are handled efficiently and effectively.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have experience in handling cross-class insurance claims, with a focus on property, CAR, casualty, and product liability. They will also possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients and their claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Coordinate claims from first notice of loss (FNOL) to settlement, advocating on behalf of the client and ensuring their interests are protected.
- Provide expert guidance and technical analysis to clients to facilitate the smooth progression of claims.
- Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution.
- Accurately manage electronic claim files and process all correspondence and diaries within service level agreements (SLAs).
- Support colleagues and internal stakeholders with technical referrals and queries.
Requirements
- Experience in handling cross-class insurance claims, with a focus on property, CAR, casualty, and product liability.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
