Motor Claims Technical Specialist

We're seeking experienced Motor Claims Technical Specialists to join our Internal Engineering Teams on a full-time and permanent basis.
These roles can be based in our Glasgow, Leeds, or Birmingham offices with hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the claims functions, inspecting vehicles within agreed service level timeframes.
- Deliver financial performance, meeting business and customer expectations with a focus on time, effort, and quality and cost management.
- Ensure the customer experience is at the heart of everything, treating customers fairly at all times.
- Use appropriate judgment to deliver excellent customer performance in line with Direct Line Group values and strategy.
- Support the delivery and management of the AD spend.
- Identify, own, and manage risks involved in running the business, interacting with internal and external contacts.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the wider business to drive the correct outcome for DLG and our customers.
- Develop self to maximize full potential in the role.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the Automotive industry, undertaking similar duties, with a minimum of NVQ3 in Automotive Repair or similar.
- ATA VDA qualifications are desirable.
- Good understanding of Thatcham Escribe and Audatex software, along with knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and motor insurance claims processes.
