Outcomes First Group is seeking a Lead Residential Support Specialist

Position: Lead Residential Support Specialist

Compensation: Up to £32,103.60 annually, inclusive of overnight shift payments

Work Schedule: Full-time, Permanent (39 hours per week)

Location: Dumfriesshire Region

Requirements: A valid driving license and eligibility to work in the UK

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate for the Lead Residential Support Specialist role will possess:

  • Essential: HNC in Social Care, SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) - SCQF 7 (Level 3) or equivalent, with a commitment to pursue an SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) - SCQF 9 (Level 4)
  • A minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of our residents
  • Attributes of patience, resilience, and composure

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Accompanying residents to appointments and activities
  • Completing necessary documentation
  • Performing household duties
  • Administering medications
  • Leading, training, and developing both new and existing support staff within your team
  • Assisting the deputy manager in maintaining a skilled and knowledgeable team
