Job Title: Senior Health Economist

CPL Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Senior Health Economist to join our team in a key role that will drive the development of health economic skills and strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: As a Senior Health Economist, you will be responsible for shaping the health economic vision and strategy for our clients, particularly in relation to health technology assessments and reimbursement landscapes.
  • Health Economic Modelling: You will design, build, and adapt health economic models to support HTA submissions and ensure efficient processes for health economic modelling and related skills.
  • Thought Leadership: As a health economic expert, you will be an ambassador for CPL Healthcare and provide thought leadership in health economics methodology and policy.
  • Strategic Partnerships: You will partner with cross-functional colleagues to guide HTA teams on health economic and outcomes research evidence generation strategies to support the value proposition of early pipeline and pre-launch assets.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Health Economics.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in all aspects of HTA submissions to NICE, SMC & AWMSG, experience of designing, building and adapting health economics models, significant experience of programming and software such as VBA, SAS, R, and significant experience of conducting evidence generation (SLRs, NMAs).
  • Skills: Strong research skills, ability to build, adapt and critique health economic models and source data inputs, existence of, or ability to develop, internal and external networks, executive presence and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
