About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Specialist in Acute and Respiratory Medicine. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical advice and leadership to our acute and respiratory medicine areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical advice and guidance to healthcare professionals and patients in acute and respiratory medicine areas.
  • Develop and implement clinical services and projects to improve patient outcomes and hospital flow.
  • Lead and manage a team of junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical projects, using your expertise to drive positive change.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs and training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Postgraduate certificate in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Experience in acute and respiratory medicine, with a strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
