About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our key clients, working closely with the Head of Business Development to identify new business opportunities and maximize referral business.
  • Business Development: Build and maintain a portfolio of key accounts, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish strong relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Account Management: Oversee the management of existing accounts, regularly reviewing and updating Salesforce to assess account value and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet revenue targets, working closely with internal teams to ensure consistent client relationships and propose solutions.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and devise strategies to capture new market areas, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular progress and forecast reports for internal and external stakeholders, using data and insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales and business development experience
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships at all levels
  • Positive, confident, and proactive with high levels of enthusiasm
  • Ability to exceed expectations and targets
  • Sound commercial awareness and decision-making skills
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to overcome objections
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to use initiative and self-manage workload
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Word and Excel (Salesforce experience is a plus)
