Job Description

Business Account Executive

Job Summary:

The Business Account Executive is a key role within the Smart Solutions Group, responsible for establishing and nurturing long-term business relationships to drive new business opportunities and revenue growth. This role requires a strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business leads, develop and execute account plans to drive sales growth, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Account Management: Manage and maintain existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform business development strategies.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives, working closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional client service, ensuring timely and professional responses to client inquiries and requests.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to inform business development strategies and drive revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Experience: Proven track record in sales and account management, with a strong understanding of commercial principles and practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the local labour and business marketplace, with the ability to stay up-to-date with market trends and developments.
  • IT Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Welsh (desirable).
