Job Title: Fundraising Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fundraising Assistant to join our team at the Royal Air Force Museum. As a key member of our Development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts and contributing to the success of our charitable objectives.

About the Role

The Fundraising Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Development team, including managing donor records, processing donations, and maintaining accurate records of fundraising activities. You will also assist with the delivery of fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives, and contribute to the development of new fundraising strategies and ideas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Development team with administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and record-keeping
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Manage donor relationships and maintain accurate records of donations and fundraising activities
  • Contribute to the development of new fundraising strategies and ideas
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to donors and stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent administrative and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices. You will also need to be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
