Job Title: Fundraising Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Officer to join our team at Community Against Poverty Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with the Fundraising Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and support our programs.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and partners to secure funding and support for our initiatives.
  3. Plan and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives, including tours, treks, and other activities to engage our community and raise awareness about our cause.
  4. Recruit and manage volunteers to assist with fundraising activities and events, providing training and support as needed.
  5. Produce high-quality promotional materials, including merchandise, banners, and other visual aids to promote our fundraising activities.
  6. Identify and pursue funding opportunities, both locally and internationally, to support our programs and services.
  7. Administer and process fundraising income, tracking donations and maintaining accurate records to evaluate the success of our fundraising efforts.
  8. Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager to identify partnership opportunities and develop joint fundraising campaigns with other organizations.
  9. Perform other duties as required to support the success of our fundraising efforts.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in fundraising, preferably in a non-profit or charity setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances.
  • Driving license and ability to travel as required.
