Position Overview:

Our client, a reputable education institution, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager and HR Support to oversee the daily operations of their office and provide efficient HR support to their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative and HR functions within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the office: Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a productive and comfortable work environment.
  • Coordinate administrative support activities: Oversee filing, data entry, and record keeping to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide HR support: Assist with recruitment processes, onboarding new employees, and maintaining employee records to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Manage payroll processes: Ensure accurate and timely payment to employees, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures: Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and best practices to ensure compliance and effective HR management.
  • Assist with employee performance evaluations: Support the management team in evaluating employee performance and addressing any performance-related issues.
  • Handle employee inquiries: Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Manage employee leave requests: Maintain leave records and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Support the management team: Assist with planning and organizing company events, meetings, and conferences to ensure smooth execution.
  • Assist with budget management: Monitor and control office expenses to ensure effective budget management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience: In an office management or HR support role, with a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software: Ability to use software to manage HR functions and maintain accurate records.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures: Understanding of relevant legislation and best practices to ensure compliance and effective HR management.
  • Strong attention to detail: Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team: Ability to work collaboratively with employees and management to achieve organizational goals.
