Position Overview

The Product Brand Strategist will oversee our premium and scientific product lines, which encompass Webbox Naturals and our recent acquisition, Vets Kitchen. This role will also involve the development of innovative challenger brands.

The premium product line will emphasize alternative proteins and naturally beneficial ingredients. This presents an excellent opportunity for the new Product Brand Strategist to influence the brand's direction while collaborating closely with innovation, sales, and category teams to enhance our market presence across various retail channels.

Key Responsibilities | Product Brand Strategist

  • Oversee essential product lines for Pets Choice Ltd and contribute to the new product development (NPD) and existing product development (EPD) pipeline, ensuring exceptional execution.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager to manage performance, identify growth opportunities, and ultimately enhance business success for the brands.
  • Create brand content and marketing campaign strategies, executing and managing all promotional and advertising activities.
  • Develop shopper marketing and category management strategies to enhance the shopper experience at the point of sale within the retail environment.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing initiatives and product communications.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and monitor competitive products and activities, supported by the Category & Insights team.
  • Lead new product development initiatives from concept to launch, unifying and motivating cross-functional teams towards shared objectives.
  • Oversee packaging development processes.
  • Manage the annual brand marketing budget effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in brand management within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Knowledge of shopper marketing and category management.
  • Positive, solution-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
