Dedicated Special Needs English Educator for Inclusive Learning Environment

Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for a Special Needs English Educator to join a highly regarded institution that excels in supporting children and young adults with autism, ranging from ages 5 to 19, fostering an enriching and supportive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver captivating English lessons tailored to meet the diverse learning requirements of students.
  • Create personalized education health care plans (EHCPs) and instructional materials that reflect the individual strengths of each learner.
  • Utilize a range of teaching techniques to address various learning preferences, ensuring accessibility to the curriculum for all students.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow educators, support personnel, and families to promote a comprehensive approach to student growth.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, offering constructive feedback and encouragement.
  • Encourage a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that motivates student engagement and self-assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching credential.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching English, ideally within a SEN context.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN and the capability to modify teaching approaches accordingly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for enhancing students' educational experiences.
  • Dedication to continuous professional growth and teamwork.

All salary rates mentioned will include statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent role in the future.
