Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver captivating and tailored English lessons to students with varied learning requirements.
  • Create personalized education health care plans (EHCPs) and instructional materials that address the distinct capabilities of each learner.
  • Utilize diverse teaching strategies to meet different learning preferences and ensure all students can engage with the curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow educators, support personnel, and families to foster a comprehensive approach to student growth.
  • Evaluate and track student development, offering constructive feedback and assistance.
  • Encourage a positive and welcoming classroom environment that promotes student involvement and self-assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching credential.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching English, ideally within a SEN context.
  • Strong comprehension of SEN and the capability to modify teaching techniques accordingly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

All quoted remuneration will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
