About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Staff Nurse to join our team in the Acute Frailty Unit at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective care for patients.
  • Triage patients who attend the unit, assess, plan, and implement and evaluate programs of care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

  • NMC registration.
  • Pre-registration evidence in direct nursing care.
  • Experience of providing holistic nursing care.
  • Interest in developing nursing skills.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Evidence of post-registration study and training.
  • Clear understanding of clinical governance framework and implementation of evidence-based practice.
  • Basic IT skills.
