Job Title: First Line Desktop IT Support

Havant and South Downs College (HSDC) is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our IT Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional desktop IT support and excellent customer service to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop IT issues
  • Maintain and support all College-owned IT systems
  • Deploy and maintain software and hardware products throughout the end-user College IT estate
  • Identify and resolve IT issues, faults, and problems
  • Support senior IT personnel in liaising with external commercial entities
Requirements:
  • Level 2 qualification in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Achieved or willing to work towards a relevant IT-related professional qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Experience of having worked in a customer-facing environment
  • Prioritizing, managing, and scheduling multiple work flows and customer requests
  • Some technical understanding of typical IT Administration/Support requirements
