MEP Construction Manager Opportunity

DataX Connect is partnering with a leading General Contractor to find an experienced MEP Construction Manager for a large data centre project in Slough.

This is an excellent opportunity for career progression and working on a complex project. The ideal candidate will have

  • 5+ years of experience delivering MEP construction projects
  • A relevant degree or trade-related qualification in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience delivering hyperscale data centres

Key responsibilities include

  • Leading day-to-day MEP construction activities throughout the project
  • Ensuring health and safety is prioritized across all internal and external parties
  • Having a full working knowledge of the project's Mechanical and Electrical systems and tracking system installation to ensure compliance with specification and program
  • Completing site inspections of Mechanical and Electrical works
  • Managing sub-contractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule
  • Generating and issuing cost and schedule reports
  • Delivering the full MEP package to client specifications
