Join Our Team as a Senior Nurse Leader

We are seeking a passionate and driven senior nurse to take on the role of B7 Sister / Charge Nurse, overseeing our dynamic Oncology and Haematology Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and Rapid Access Unit.

This position presents a remarkable opportunity for a proactive leader to guide a skilled nursing team in providing exceptional assessment and emergency care services for patients.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and organizational abilities, demonstrate flexibility, and be self-motivated, with a proven track record in planning and executing service enhancement initiatives within the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fostering strong working relationships with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensuring high standards of care delivery and management of the ward or area.
  • Promoting and monitoring safe and effective practices to enhance patient experiences.
  • Providing professional clinical leadership and operational management on a daily basis.
  • Supporting the Matron in service development initiatives.
  • Acting as a role model and leader, embracing a flexible approach that encompasses both leadership and clinical responsibilities.
  • Exhibiting pride in work and a commitment to quality care.
