Finance Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to join our team at Clear IT Recruitment Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive accounting records, reconciling bank statements, and managing the flow of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for the school and its trading subsidiary.
  2. Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile and post all company card transactions for the main school and Trading company users to the nominal ledger.
  3. Invoice Management: Manage the flow of invoices for approval within the Lightyear accounting system.
  4. Expense Claims: Process all staff expense claims.
  5. Financial Reporting: Prepare the annual return, tax reclaims, reports to the charity commission, and other similar reports.
  6. Insurance Administration: Administer the general insurance and motor insurance, including claims.
