Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses in the outpatient department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses in the outpatient department, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

  • Coordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety, working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals.

  • Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalized care and promoting a supportive, enabling working culture on the ward.

  • Apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning and delivery, championing best practice and evidence-based care.

  • Work well with consultants who are experts in their field, promoting effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the appropriate governing body and relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC.

  • Post-registration experience in care of patients, pre and post operatively, in various specialties.

  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to work flexibly, including staying on late if clinics run longer than anticipated.
