About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Specialist to join our National Finance & Administration team at Aldi UK and Ireland's 4th largest grocer.

As a Tax Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of corporate tax compliance and tax reporting under FRS102 and IFRS. You will review transfer pricing documentation and capital allowance claims, make corporate tax payments, and stay up-to-date with corporate tax legislation changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of UK and Irish corporate tax compliance and tax reporting
  • Review and contribute to the preparation of Group transfer pricing documentation
  • Review capital allowance claims and processes
  • Ensure accurate and timely corporate tax payments and forecasting
  • Develop and maintain Corporate Tax governance documentation
  • Collaborate with the Tax Manager on Corporate Tax initiatives
  • Identify areas of process improvement and implement change
  • Build relationships with colleagues in Finance, Property, and Group Tax
  • Liaise with external advisers and auditors
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist with:

  • Experience in corporate tax compliance and tax accounting gained either in practice or in-house
  • Excellent corporate tax technical skills
