Key Responsibilities:

This position is primarily home-based, with regular travel required to our Head Office and frequent visits for client meetings at Retailer Headquarters.

  • Manage, cultivate, and enhance relationships with your National Accounts.
  • Oversee one or two National Account Managers.
  • Formulate and implement plans and brand strategies aligned with company objectives for the existing account portfolio.
  • Boost distribution and visibility of products within the account base.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the account base.
  • Ensure the achievement of internal targets with a focus on profitable growth.
  • Implement promotional plans in accordance with strategy and customer requirements.
  • Comprehend the commercial implications of pricing, promotions, and investments.
  • Negotiate trading terms, pricing adjustments, range resets, and cost increases as necessary.
  • Develop, implement, and execute clear Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with the customer base, ensuring alignment with key performance measures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to focus on account-specific objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive internal and external performance analysis reports.
  • Ensure effective execution of New Product Development (NPD) plans with retailers, including clear implementation of support strategies.
  • Focus on accurate forecasting, internal communication, and understanding retailer supply demands.
  • Prepare internal and customer presentations.
  • Monitor category-based rationale and competitor activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven commercial and negotiation expertise.
  • Experience in National Account Management within an FMCG context, particularly with top 4 mults.
  • Ability to influence and foster strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Solution-oriented mindset.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proficient in data analysis and utilization.
  • High levels of drive and energy.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
