Key Responsibilities:

This position is primarily home-based, with regular travel required to our Head Office. Frequent travel is also necessary for client meetings at Retailer Head Offices.

  • Manage, cultivate, and enhance relationships with your National Accounts.
  • Oversee one or two National Account Managers.
  • Formulate and implement plans and brand strategies aligned with company objectives for the existing account portfolio.
  • Boost distribution and visibility of products within the account base.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the account base.
  • Accountable for achieving internal targets with a focus on profitable growth.
  • Implement promotional plans in accordance with strategy and customer requirements.
  • Comprehend the commercial implications of pricing, promotions, and investments.
  • Negotiate trading terms, pricing, range resets, Joint Business Plans (JBP), and cost increases as necessary.
  • Develop, implement, and execute clear Joint Business Plans with the customer base, ensuring focus on key performance measures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve account-specific objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive internal and external analysis of reports with an emphasis on performance metrics.
  • Ensure strong execution of New Product Development (NPD) plans with clear implementation of support strategies.
  • Focus on forecasting, internal communication, and understanding retailer supply demands.
  • Prepare internal and customer presentations.
  • Maintain a focus on category-based rationale and monitor competitor activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in National Account Management within an FMCG environment, particularly with top 4 mults.
  • Ability to influence and build robust relationships both internally and externally.
  • Solution-oriented mindset.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proficient in analyzing and utilizing data effectively.
