Position Overview

An excellent opportunity has emerged within the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and diligent individual to become part of our team.

In this role, you will be tasked with delivering a high-quality service of meals and refreshments to our patients at the ward level, adhering to established protocols and guidelines. This position demands adaptability to meet the service's requirements, effective communication skills, and a positive, professional demeanor.

The working hours will average hours per week, as outlined in the schedule below:

Week 1: Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun 07:00-18:30

Week 2: Mon, Thurs, Fri 07:00-18:30

Enhanced remuneration for Saturdays = £ per hour

Enhanced remuneration for Sundays = £ per hour

Key Responsibilities

You will be accountable for providing a quality service of meals and refreshments to our patients at the ward level, following established protocols and guidelines.

You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen areas and upholding hygiene standards within the ward kitchens, ensuring compliance with Food Safety Regulations.

It is essential to maintain high standards of Food Hygiene and cleanliness at all times.

Collaboration within a team is crucial, and you will need strong communication skills to foster positive working relationships within the team while presenting a professional image to patients and visitors.
