About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Account Manager to join our team at Babington. As a key member of our Customer Engagement team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and challenges, and providing solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Customer Retention: You will be responsible for retaining existing customers by understanding their needs, providing excellent customer service, and identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Business Development: You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth.
  • Proposal Development: You will be responsible for developing and submitting proposals to customers, ensuring that they meet the customer's needs and requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: You will have a minimum of 12 months' experience in a sales or account management role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs.
  • Skills: You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. You will also have a good understanding of the UK apprenticeship landscape, including funding, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Education: You will have a good understanding of the education and training sector, with a focus on apprenticeships and commercial training.
