About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our Infrastructure Development team at Ramboll. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading on Civil Engineering / Infrastructure design for projects led by this discipline or projects led by other departments where Ramboll's offering is multi-disciplinary.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project research, including site surveys and site inspections, to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
  • Prepare bid and contract documentation, including fee forecasting and preparation, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Apply and promote policies relating to health and safety, quality, and training to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Provide guidance, instruction, motivation, and management to assigned staff on the project to ensure their growth and development.
  • Responsible for the competency assessment of staff involved in the project to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to organize and conduct several activities simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Establish relationships with individuals from other organizations, generating market intelligence and new business opportunities.
  • Able to prepare single discipline bid documentation, in association with other disciplines, to ensure a comprehensive and competitive bid.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer who has a strong grounding in Engineering principles and a good working knowledge of AutoCAD. You will have a BEng/MEng (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering and be Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer, MICE. You will also have experience or knowledge of resourcing, progress measurement, earned value analysis, completion forecasting, and status reporting.
