The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of mechanical solutions on a wide variety of complex systems while collaborating with wider multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead mechanical design work packages and have experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team with the awareness and understanding of the challenges that this may bring.
  2. Develop and implement mechanical solutions that meet the needs of our clients and align with our company's vision and values.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mechanical solutions are integrated into the overall product lifecycle.
  4. Contribute to the development of new technologies and processes that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our design and development processes.
Requirements
  1. Ideally Degree/HND/HNC qualified with experience in Mechanical Design and Development in one of the following areas; Mechanisms, Structures, Assembly and Integration, Concept down selection and development.
  2. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
