The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a part-time Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading mechanical design work packages and working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead mechanical design work packages and ensure that they are completed on time and to a high standard.
  2. Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality products and services.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and stakeholders.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and services.

Requirements

  1. Degree/HND/HNC qualified in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  2. Experience in mechanical design and development, with a focus on mechanisms, structures, assembly and integration, concept down selection and development.
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
