Job Title: Principal Test Engineer

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Principal Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Test and Release capability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective test strategies and plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality systems and services.
  • Lead and manage a team of test engineers to deliver testing activities and ensure the quality of our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with quality standards and policies.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and reduce testing time.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in test management and leadership, with a strong background in test automation and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
