Job Overview

Flusso Ltd is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to enhance our testing processes and capabilities. The successful candidate will be tasked with comprehending the technologies, products, and application solutions developed by our organization. This role involves specifying, designing, and constructing systems for testing our gas and flow sensor solutions under defined operating conditions. The Test Engineer will also develop testing software, database functionalities, and tools for analyzing test data, while executing test specifications to deliver high-quality and dependable test outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The Test Engineer will participate in the development and introduction of new products, which includes gathering test requirements, creating specifications, methods, and plans for sensor performance characterization and validation. Responsibilities also include designing and implementing automated testing setups, collaborating with the Data Science team, and formulating test methodologies to investigate sensor performance discrepancies. Furthermore, the Test Engineer will contribute to the requirements of the testing laboratory infrastructure and mentor junior Test Engineers to improve their effectiveness.

In addition, the Test Engineer will oversee production testing and products in production by coordinating with testing facilities, monitoring production test data and yield, optimizing the balance between testing costs and coverage, and investigating customer returns in conjunction with the Quality department.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Science discipline and have a thorough understanding of testing and measurement principles and practices. Experience in test engineering for sensor products, development of testing software and database functionalities, and integration of testing solutions with mechanical components, electronic subsystems, and software is essential. Familiarity with gas detection, flow sensing components, and silicon-MEMS component fabrication would be advantageous.
