About Cellular Origins
Cell therapies have demonstrated the potential to treat severe and previously unmanageable conditions such as cancer by re-engineering the patient’s immune response. Expanding access to these critical therapies necessitates a transformation in production and process automation.
Cellular Origins, a subsidiary of TTP, is dedicated to facilitating scalable, cost-efficient, and effective production of cell and gene therapies. Our innovative technology tackles the challenges linked to large-scale manufacturing with a sophisticated solution for automated sterile fluidic connections that minimizes costs and labor, mitigates human error, and enhances efficiency.
Position Overview: Senior Test & Development Engineer
This role presents an excellent opportunity to be part of our Product Delivery team, significantly influencing the future of the Cellular Origins' Constellation system. Collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and scientists, you will play a crucial role in actualizing our vision through comprehensive development and thorough testing.
Your Responsibilities:
- Guide the development towards a dependable and robust system by creating tailored testing environments and engaging in hands-on testing and experimental activities.
- Participate in the assembly and testing of electro-mechanical devices and their components, facilitating a smooth transition to manufacturing.
- Conduct reliability assessments to ensure that the Constellation system endures the demands of real-world applications, enhancing the durability and lifespan of our technology.
- Assume a coordinating role in the manufacturing processes, ensuring that the quality of systems consistently meets the standards established during development.
As part of our rapidly expanding startup, you will gain access to more than just daily tasks. By collaborating across various teams, you will be instrumental in advancing the ongoing development of our technology.
This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a technically challenging and purpose-driven environment, alongside dedicated colleagues, as we redefine the future of cell therapy manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field with relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in testing and troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, ideally within a product development or manufacturing context.
- Strong grasp of reliability testing methodologies, with the capability to design and implement test plans that ensure product quality and performance.
- Proficient technical analysis and documentation skills, including the creation of Test Specifications, Test Protocols, and Test Reports.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in interdisciplinary teams and dynamic environments.
- Familiarity with software tools for developing test scripts, processing log files, and managing database content.
- Experience in an Agile setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
While the above criteria outline our ideal candidate, we recognize that not everyone may meet all requirements. We value diversity and encourage applications from individuals who meet most of the listed qualifications.
Employee Benefits:
Cellular Origins is part of TTP Group, an employee-owned organization. Our facilities are designed with sustainability in mind, located within a collaborative campus environment.
