Senior Test Development Engineer – £50k-£65k – Test Rig Design

Platform Recruitment is partnering with a leading robotics and automation company to find experienced Test Development Engineers. In this role, you will design and develop custom test rigs for comprehensive testing. Your expertise will guide the creation of reliable and robust systems through the development of unique test environments, hands-on testing, and experimental methodologies. You'll be involved in electro-mechanical assembly, and testing of components, systems, and later transfer to manufacture.


Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop bespoke test rigs

• Conduct hands-on testing and experimental work

• Assemble and test electro-mechanical devices

• Lead design verification and reliability testing

• Facilitate transfer to manufacture

Required Skills and Experience:

• Design and build bespoke test rigs

• Previous experience testing electro-mechanical products

• Strong technical analysis and documentation skills

• Experience in electro-mechanical assembly

• Proven experience in reliability testing methodologies

• Develop test scripts


Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role will be between £50,000-£65,000 depending on experience. A generous benefits package is also available, including bonus, private medical, and a good pension.
