Digital Risk Management Specialist

Austin Werner is seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our team in the Crypto / Digital Asset Management sector. As a leading Digital Asset Manager, we are revolutionizing digital asset management through innovation, superior knowledge, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Define and Implement GRC Policies: Develop and implement Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) policies, frameworks, and guidelines across the organization.
- Establish Clear Roles and Responsibilities: Establish clear roles and responsibilities for GRC stakeholders, including the board of directors, CEO, CRO, and business unit managers.
- Ensure Alignment with Business Objectives: Ensure alignment of GRC with business objectives and strategies.
- Identify, Assess, and Prioritize Risks: Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization.
- Develop and Implement Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Monitor and Report on Risk Exposure: Monitor and report on risk exposure and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with industry and government regulations, standards, and laws.
- Develop and Maintain Compliance Programs: Develop and maintain compliance programs and procedures.
- Conduct Compliance Training and Awareness: Conduct compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
- Expertise in GRC: Expertise in GRC, ideally within capital markets with knowledge of the Crypto / Digital Asset sector.
- Background in Risk Assessments: Background in running risk assessments and working with Senior Leadership to report effectiveness of Risk Measures, recommend strategies to mitigate Risk and training of staff.
- Proven Knowledge of Regulatory Frameworks: Proven knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FCA, AMF, BMA, MICA, DORA, GDPR and security governance.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills: Ability to engage across all layers of a business both domestically and internationally.
