Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our sales team due to an exciting period of growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in a defined geography, coordinating all Rocialle interactions with accounts, and developing and implementing account plans for our wound care portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize stakeholder meetings to demonstrate the unique benefits of our wound care portfolio.
  • Attend local study days, educational events, and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Support at national events within the UK as required.
  • Present our portfolio to large groups of clinicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Work with the Business Development Manager to utilize NHS objectives to create and implement business plans per account to drive wound care sales.
  • Win new formulary listings and develop current business growth opportunities within the community and acute settings in line with sales targets and objectives.
  • Develop relationships and build up a rapport with specialist nurses, practice nurses, and procurement teams at all levels.
  • Accelerate profitable sales growth within the wound care division, identifying key brands and focus accounts, utilizing appropriate data.
  • Identify key trends in the local and national payor/prescriber environment across treatment settings and proactively identify and drive appropriate business opportunities.
  • Gather customer, competitor, formulary, framework, and wider NHS intelligence, considering and verbalizing potential business impact.
  • Comply with all internal and external codes of conduct, including GDPR and all regulatory bodies.
  • Regularly maintain and update CRM systems.
  • Be prepared to travel up to 4 days per week within defined territory with occasional requirements to attend meetings at Head Office and national conferences.
Requirements
  • Suitable for a proactive, goal-oriented self-starter who is looking to develop a career in medical sales.
  • Excellent planning, organization, communication, and project management skills.
  • Natural curiosity and ability to handle complex information.
  • Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Pro-active, goal-oriented, and solutions-focused with excellent presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable IT skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience
  • Candidates will be degree-educated and ideally have a life science or business degree.
  • Ideally, some sales experience as a minimum, they must have worked in a commercial position to date.
  • Alternatively, they could have some clinical focus, such as physiotherapy, and be looking to move into sales.
  • Applicant will be smart in appearance, personable, and demonstrate commercial acumen.
  • 12 months of field sales experience (preferable).
  • Medical sales experience (preferable).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills to evaluate the commercial approach.
  • Strong people skills to develop long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Experience in utilizing Microsoft Office suite, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
