Accountancy Action: Finance Governance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Governance Officer to join our team at Accountancy Action. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position with a view to extend afterwards.

The role will involve working up to 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely, with a bonus of up to 15% on top of the base salary, life assurance, pension, and healthcare provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure data governance standards, including GDPR, are met through effective end-to-end data controls with appropriate reporting to relevant Boards and Committees.
  • Play a key role in the quarterly annual control testing program.
  • Liaise with Business and Support functions (Finance, Risk & Compliance, Operations, IT, and Customer Service) teams to ensure ICOFR documentation is kept up to date.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong risk background or regulatory reporting and Power BI experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
