STF Technician Job Description

WasteRecruit Ltd is seeking an experienced STF Technician to join their dynamic team in the Southeast of England. As an STF Technician, you will play a vital role in the management of daily operations at the Soil Treatment Facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the treatment of hydrocarbon-impacted soils and organic materials, from reception to disposal.
  • Support the site's Health & Safety measures, ensuring compliance with environmental controls.
  • Manage site monitoring, people management, and liaise with third-party contractors and clients.
  • Contribute to a safe and productive working environment by promoting an effective health and safety culture.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in Environmental, Groundworks, or Waste Management sectors.
  • A relevant Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • Health & Safety qualifications (COSHH, Asbestos Awareness, etc.) are a plus.
  • First Aid and Fire Marshall training are desirable but not essential.
