Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with members, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Apply credit control policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Assist with loan decision-making, analyzing creditworthiness and making informed recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, using Word and Excel IT programs to track and analyze data.
  • Communicate effectively with members, both verbally and in writing, using an empathetic and persuasive manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives and support the growth of the credit union.
Requirements
  • Direct experience in loan underwriting processes and credit control procedures.
  • Ability to maintain strict policy compliance and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Willingness to train and develop other employees in lending decisions and credit control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with people and build strong relationships.
  • Practical expertise with Word and Excel IT programs, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with members.
  • Ability to work with numbers and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
