About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Portfolio Manager to join our team at UK Research and Innovation. As a Research Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of research and innovation activities across the Engineering and Physical Sciences research community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gathering and integrating internal and external information about the research and innovation landscape and the EPSRC portfolio
  • Operation of peer review and other formal decision-making processes
  • Working with external stakeholders to manage strategic relationships with key influencers in universities and business
  • Working across teams to ensure cross-portfolio understanding and joint initiatives
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on activities and investments to feed into planning
  • Supporting senior colleagues with the development of projects and implementation of plans
