About the RoleThis is a fixed-term position that will play a key role in supporting the team at a busy and exciting time for the infrastructure portfolio. As an Investment Manager, you will provide strategic support and lead the development of projects, with a particular focus on the 'World Class Labs' programme, which invests in institutional and regional research facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Work strategically with the Head of Infrastructure and other Senior Investment Managers to ensure effective implementation of portfolio work packages and realise the benefits from previous investments.
- Contribute to the team's response to data and impact story requests as we develop our Spending review submission.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Higher Education Institutions, Independent Research Organisations, and other research funders.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on policies, procedures, and systems within AHRC.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a good understanding of the UK higher education system and/or experience in higher education administration, research administration, the heritage sector, digital humanities, or a similar environment.
You will have experience of managing successful large-scale projects and programmes of work, including budget management, and be able to build productive working relationships internally and externally.
A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline is essential, and you will have experience giving presentations, leading workshops, and influencing discussions for various stakeholders.
