Research Portfolio Manager

Are you passionate about research and innovation? Do you have a keen interest in working with researchers, businesses, and government to support excellent research that delivers real impact for the economy and society?

We are seeking a Research Portfolio Manager to join our team at EPSRC. As a Research Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in developing and delivering ideas for future research activities and building relationships with stakeholders within universities and industry to ensure we fund research of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and understanding internal and external information about the research and innovation landscape and the EPSRC portfolio
  • Working with external stakeholders to manage strategic relationships through representing EPSRC in external networks and meetings
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on activities and investments to feed into planning
  • Planning and organisational skills, including an ability to prioritise and manage complex activities
