About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Buyer to join our team. As a Trainee Buyer, you will assist in procurement, build supplier relationships, and stay updated on market trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in procurement by sourcing and ordering products, ensuring stock levels meet demand while keeping costs down.
  • Build supplier relationships by working with suppliers to negotiate terms, manage orders, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Stay updated on market trends, product availability, and pricing changes to help the team make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Learn purchasing processes, including procurement systems, contract management, and evaluating supplier performance.
  • Keep accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and stock levels to help operations run smoothly.
About You:
  • You are detail-oriented and organized, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
  • You are eager to learn and grow, with a passion for procurement and a desire to start your career in buying.
  • You have great communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members and suppliers.
  • You are tech-savvy, with comfort using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn procurement software.
  • You are a problem solver, with the ability to think on your feet and help resolve supply chain issues quickly.
