We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care and Support Assistant to join our team at Clover Court, Lowestoft. As a Night Care and Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized care and support to customers, encouraging them to live as independently as possible.
- Support customers with daily living tasks, such as washing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Administer medication and assist with shopping, cleaning, and laundry tasks.
- Help customers arrange and attend appointments, promoting a positive culture and preventing social isolation.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records, promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments.
- Provide peace of mind for residents by conducting security checks and checking on all buildings and residents.
- Conduct bed calls and morning calls to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Prior experience delivering personal care is desirable.
- A kind, caring nature and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of customers.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to work independently.
- NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards, is desirable.
